The 55th Biennial Reunion will be held at the Fredericksburg Hospitality House, Fredericksburg, VA 22401

This historic hotel is a registered Landmark with the Virginia Department of Historic Resources. It has been recently renovated and is elegant.

Ideally located in the heart of everything, Fredericksburg Hospitality House Hotel and Convention Center is just off I-95, about 50 miles south of Washington, D.C. It is within minutes of Fredericksburg's famous Civil War and colonial sites, the University of Mary Washington, and more.

The Officers and Board will need to be there by Monday July 22.

Bus Trip Choices:

The Reunion Committee intends to plan two or three field trips to take place during the reunion. Below is a list of possible destinations. We can only do 2 trips, or maybe 3, if we them make half-day choices. You are encouraged to voice your preferences. Please send them your first three choices, ranked in order, via email to 2018 Reunion Committee .

  • Washington DC, early morning to 3:00 pm.: You will get out at many of these sights: Arlington Cemetery, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Korean Memorial & Vietnam Memorial, U.S. Capitol, The Smithsonian, Washington Monument; & you will drive past the Pentagon, Bureau of Printing, National Archives, Canadian Embassy, FBI Building, Supreme Court and many more.

  • George Washington's Mount Vernon: Bus trip up I-95 just into Fairfax County, 50 minutes. George's home is restored by the Mt. Vernon Ladies Society and a marvelous museum has been added there recently that tells a lot more about George. Half-Day trip.

  • Fredericksburg Trolley bus morning trip: More than 75 minutes of Local History: The Mary Washington House, Kenmore House (George's sister Betty's house), Rising Sun Tavern, Apothecary Shop, Historic Churches, & Cemeteries, Fredericksburg Battlefield. Half-Day trip.

  • Civil War local bus tour of: Fredericksburg Battlefield, Chancellorsville Battlefield, Wilderness Battlefield, Spotsylvania Battlefield. Half-Day.

  • Madison's Montpelier Home at Orange, VA: Bus less than one hour to Orange, Virginia. James Madison's home belonged to the Dupont Family for many years. It has now been marvelously restored to the time of Madison's death. Also Virginia Wine Country. Half-Day.

  • Jefferson's Monticello outside Charlottesville, VA: All Day trip at one hour and 45 minutes distance from Fredericksburg.
