Doane Family Foundation Scholarships

Scholarship Funding

The Doane Family Foundation has two scholarship funds: The Doane Family Foundation and the Doane Family Scholarship Fund.

1.The Doane Family Foundation

The Doane Family Foundation is to assist students who wish to attend Doane College in Crete, NE. Doane College administers this fund and determines the recipients of the funds with input from the Doane Family Foundation Board of  Directors.

2.The Doane Family Scholarship Fund

The purpose of this fund is to assist Doane Family members who wish to attend Doane College or another institution of higher learning. These scholarships are available for undergraduate studies only.  The Doane Family Foundation Board of Directors administers this fund.  The fund is endowed by the Doane Family Association of America, Inc., and will accept tax-exempt donations from Doane Family members or other contributors. To make contributions to this fund please contact   foundation@doanefamilyassociation.org .  

To apply for a scholarship from the Doane Family Foundation the process is as follows:

 1. Print the Application form.

 2. February 28th: By this date applicants must submit the completed Doane Family Foundation Scholarship application for the following academic year. The application form, essay, and a copy of the current year's FAFSA results must be sent to the address printed on the application form.

 3. May 1st: Foundation informs applicants of the scholarship awards. 

 4. Applicants receiving scholarship awards for other than Doane College must submit a certificate of enrollment in their choice of institution for the ensuing year. After which, checks will be made co-payable to the student and college of choice.
